Our son is autistic and struggles to understand spoken communication or anything other than simple text. The Widgit InPrint software and symbols effectively unlock even complex social stories for him. The symbols and ability to add images enable him to understand the meaning, almost immediately. The InPrint 3 social stories make it possible to navigate stressful situations, such as travelling (airports security / passport control, etc) that he would otherwise be unable to tolerate. As an occasional user, it's also good to know that, if required, the technical support provided is also excellent.

It is great for primary students. More SEND and Higher interest books for lower ability students.

Giglets is a fantastic resource which is easy to use for adults and children alike. It provides a wide range of texts which are levelled to suit all learners and provides linked follow up activities which can be sent back to teachers to assess.

Driven Tutors is a supportive place to work, and lets you have a genuine impact on your students.

Teaching at Driven Tutors is flexible as it is online and allows me to study at university whilst simultaneously teaching. The lessons are very lively and filled with the joy of learning. However, technical issues, which usually occur on the pupils end, may prevent some students from learning.

Great ready made resources and visuals linked to the curriculum that support English language learners

Overall, it helps improve student attainment, it helps TAs with less experience plan and sequence lessons, the students thoroughly enjoy using it, and it designed for independent learning which aids in teacher work load. It also allows students to see their progress on their language and phonics journeys which helps motivate them.

We have been working with Manning's since September and they have been fantastic, supporting us in setting up a robust tutoring system to support pupil progress. They have a thorough knowledge of the National Tutoring Programme and were able to provide supportive guidance on how the funding could be used and also the most effective ways to set up tutoring. Danie (our liaison officer) is amazing. Her communication is exceptional and she will always go the extra mile to ensure that tutoring is set up to meet the needs of our school and pupils. Danie will regularly set up weekly online meetings so that we can discuss the progress of each tutoring phase, making adaptations when and where necessary. She really has been key in supporting us to deliver nearly 2000 hours of tutoring. Johnny is also incredibly supportive, discussing the financial side of the tutoring programme, providing detailed breakdowns of attendance and progress, and also being able to visit the school to discuss plans for the 2023/2024 academic year. As a school we would highly recommend Manning's and we look forward to working with them next academic year.

My students have loved the LevelUp Village experiences they have participated in. Mostly they cannot wait to receive responses from their favorite students in the partner school. Although they do not know each other personally and do not exchange personal contact information, they make a true connection and are excited to see and hear from their "friends".

It has been a trial / error learning to navigate the dates / tasks / partners being paired with two different groups. One group has been able to progress but the other got stuck when the partner didn't release the videos. Overall it has been super positive - but, it was a little overwhelming for students to jump into the tasks. Thankfully we did celebrations, which they already had some vocabulary base for - but looking forward, i feel like i will have to create materials to help them have some vocabulary base before jumping into the new topics. I'd love to see materials included for that. That would put me at a 10

Little Bridge is a friendly platform for users, it has no national badge or flag so it can be used in public education, it caters for children with different skills and capacities, it is fun and has the great addition of "digipals".

Because I think it is a waste of time t it is no fun.

I would say that it is lacking in some aspects, but I think that it would still be quite helpful to any student, especially if you want to revise or learn ahead as it provides all resources both above and below your grade level in your subject.

At this point, it requires the teacher quite a bit of input to be effective. My view may be dependent on the rather little taught language couple French-Finnish. This is likely to be a HS language teacher's go-to tool, as acquiring material for HS students is about to become a struggle with the reform.

Having paid for this I can't access the app more than 30%. It keeps insisting I sign up over and over and over again. 2/3 of site is 'off limits' to me. And I keep getting messages about signing up. Have reached out for help several times - to no avail. Avoid this product.
