What is Up Learn?
Up Learn is a smart learning platform for independent study that helps schools get better results; students using the platform achieve A/A*s at twice the national rate. We work with an extensive range of partner schools including: Ark Schools, The Harris Federation, NOVA and Michaela Community School. Our comprehensive courses cover A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics and Psychology.
We deliver excellent results and empower students to achieve mastery with our unique features: interactive videos, on-demand tutor support, AI-powered adaptive learning and many more.
How it works
1. Maximise independent learning
- Timetable independent learning into the curriculum
- Set clear expectations around usage of the platform
- Register students in and out of a computer room to ensure usage.
2. Track Usage
- Gain real time insights into student usage on a daily basis
- Reward or sanction students based on a minimum number of set hours; we recommend 2 hours per subject, per week as a minimum
- Use the total number of Up Learn hours to inform reports and analyse mock results.
3. Centralise responsibility
- Implement informed KS5 interventions as an SLT-led initiative
- Collaborate with Heads of Department to hold students to account and celebrate successes
- Avoid over-burdening staff by asking them to implement another new change in the middle of a term.
Recommended Usage
We recommend that students complete a minimum of 2 hours per week, per subject to maximise their success on the platform.

I am always looking for tools to aid pupils with increasing their attainment / ability in Economics. Actually the pupils that are currently finding it most useful are those pupils who are Year 13 and have already learnt quite a significant amount of content. I was expecting them to be pessamistic but they love the accessibility and straight-forward nature of the content. I have to say I am very impressed with Up Learn's immediate impact.

When I first used Up Learn, I was extremely surprised. It usually takes me time before I’m in the flow for learning but just in a few minutes with Up Learn, I was already fixated on the task, and the most surprising part… I was having fun.

Clear structure of learning, the 'experience goals' concept is very helpful for maintaining concentration. Only nag is that some courses haven't been made yet.

Just the best platform. Up Learn makes revision easier and more fun. It can be costly but they offer scholarships, which is how I got it. To be honest, now that I have experienced it, I would definitely pay for Up Learn if, say, my scholarship suddenly ended. Even though I'd have to work to be able to afford it.

I purchased the up learn course for A level maths and psychology. I particularly needed help with maths after I got an E in my year 12 mocks so I decided to try up learn and within a month I got an A in my next mock and an A* in my recent end of year exams. Up learn has been a saviour for me, the videos are so intuitive and the questions throughout keep you engaged and it identifies your weaker areas. Perhaps one improvement could be more exam practice questions, but there are plenty of these available for free online so it's not a must. I will be continuing with these courses next year to hopefully attain some A's/A*'s !

If anyone is struggling with maths as AS or A-Level, Up-Learn will certainly change that. The only downside of Up-Learn is the videos can get a little boring and tedious, but this is only because it makes the maths seem so simple, so it takes to problem solving and logical thinking out of maths, which i enjoy greatly about maths. Nevertheless, Up-Learn is a brilliant tool for people who are struggling with Mathematics

I really love UpLearn, I started by using the free trial because I did not know whether I would like it. But it's genuinely the best decision that I have made for my education. It is so helpful and easy to use. You can literally revise anywhere with it, and it is not passive learning because you actually have to answer questions while watching the videos. I really like how interactive it is because it helps me learn and understand the topic rather than just memorise it, which is such a crucial part of A-Level. UpLearn is definitely for you if you struggle to focus or if you are terrible at using textbooks to revise. Another AMAZING feature is that you have access to tutors that you can message 24/7, so now those endless questions that you have about a topic that you keep googling but find no answer for, you can just message one of the tutors and they will answer! What's even better, is that they have a scholarship programme, in which (if eligible) you can use UpLearn for free, which is what I am doing. I would recommend checking out their website for more information or email them (which is another amazing feature to get in contact with them so easily).Just get UpLearnnnnn.

Ok! Got to write this here! I had my bio paper 1 today and the day before The exam i just went through the summary videos just to refresh my mind and I swear all I needed was covered in those 2-3 minute videos! Everything was so fresh in my head during exam! And there was no question beyond what was covered in the summary videos! gonna do the same for all coming papers and subjects!

I am in year 12 and am using this for A level physics. Up Learn is AMAZING! It explains all the topics super well and gives questions for each topic. It's better than my teacher. I feel comforted that whenever I don't understand a topic that my teacher has taught me, I can come home and use Up Learn to help me understand it. I would totally recommend it because my grades have been rising ever since I started using it.

Very very good. Only thing I would say is that for psychology it doesn't allow you to do paper 3 sufficiently enough- I studied relationships, but this was not one of the options if I needed to do schizophrenia and aggression aswell. Additionally, you only get all money back if you complete the whole of unlearn and don't get a/a* which is pretty much impossible given how busy you are during a levels. Despite these few points, I would do unlearn again and it is a very good platform.

Uplearn is an absolutely amazing online learning platform that consistently surpasses expectations!! The level of service provided by their customer support team is exceptional, exhibiting promptness, friendliness, and impressive knowledge. The platform's wealth of resources, intuitive interface, and comprehensive testing sections showcase its dedication to facilitating effective learning and academic success. Perhaps what I would like would be more questions in the test sections, and downloadable cheat sheets (like from SnapRevise) and a flashcard only section, with different questions to the test sections. With that being said, Uplearn remains an indispensable tool in my educational journey. Its convenience, accessibility, and commitment to excellence make it a highly recommended platform for anyone seeking a transformative online learning experience. Definitely deserves 5 stars.PS. Up Learn, in simple words, is an EXCELLENT learning tool. It gives us quizzes and short questions, which is very engaging and keeps us focused. My favorite feature is the 'Summary'. It can cover a whole topic in a matter of minutes. It breaks down hard topics into small, understandable parts. Went from a grade D-E, all the way up to a high B, close to an A, in A level Maths. Overall, brilliant.
