I am a student at I.W.A and I have many friends that are super nice and the nuns there are the best and the teachers are spot on

my sister was diagnosed w irritable bowel syndrome, and this administration was most unkind to her during her gassiest moments.

I went to IWA from 1966 until 1975 - kindergarten through 8th grade.
The sisters taught me much more than how to read and write and perform well on my future SAT's. When I went to Magnificat, I was more than prepared to stand my own ground and cut out my own future for myself. I found my love of Christ through the loving guidance of these nuns who taught me the basics of my religion that has lasted all of these years and has sustained me every day of my life. This is a gift that no other public school could ever provide.
This gift was so important, that I sent my five children to IWA. I am proud of all of their accomplishments and I know that they were all initiated into the family of Christ by my husband and I and that relationship was cemented by the sisters and teachers of IWA. Each of my children, by the grace of God, are people who make society a better place. They are contributors. Not seeking what others will give to them but, what they can do for others. I am proud of them and I know that my parents are proud of me. This is all stems from a good, solid foundation based on the Judeo Christian concepts. That is what you will receive from Incarnate Word Academy. That is what you will pass on to others. God bless you as you make this decision for the future of your children. I thought of IWA because this flyer came in the mail and I realized that is me, little Kathy Wike to the far right in 1966 and this is me today, Mrs. Kathy Philbin - wife, mother, grandmother and a graduate of Incarnate Word Academy.

As a proud IWA alumni, and now a current parent, I can't say enough about the caring, faith-based, academic environment that my daughter is experiencing. School is fun, the teachers are engaging, the Sisters are involved in classrooms daily, and the students get to know their classmates that are in-school and those learning simultaneously at-home. I would encourage any parent to call and schedule a tour and shadow day.

Love the school.  Great teachers and leaders.  7 years with the school and 7 more to go.  The kids couldn't be happier!  They are challenged by the amazing teachers and their honors program is wonderful.
