Fantastic piece of technology. Some technical issues when first installing but these were resolved with support.

- Slightly saves school money
- Moderately builds student knowledge“Supports teachers in understanding how to improve their pedagogy.”

Any school that wants to invest in their staff, in improving their taught curriculum offer, improving their pedagogy, helping them to develop as teachers should consider ONVU Learning. Any school wanting to remove the 'Hawthorne Effect' from their lesson observations, recruitment lessons etc... should also consider ONVU Learning. Any school wanting to invest in its culture of learning and teaching to the benefit of all, should also consider ONVU Learning.
Damien Kearns found ONVU Learning:
- Slightly saves school money“Camera technology allows us to use 'real time' footage to support our staff CPD. There is an opportunity cost saving to us in not having to find exemplar material elsewhere. We also believe that the investment in ONVU Learning is a clear sign of support of, and commitment to, our staff. We want to give them as many improvement tools as possible so that they might stay; ONVU Learning is a significant tool for improvement. What price the ability to retain outstanding staff?”
- Significantly builds student knowledge“The impact on student knowledge comes through our ability to support our teachers via ONVU. Trying to make a self evaluation on the efficacy of a newly taught lesson is not easy; ONVU camera technology allows for a more forensic evaluation by the teacher concerned and whomever they might wish to collaborate with in order to improve the curriculum that they deliver and, consequently, the curriculum that the students receive.”
