I can't see any reason not to recommend it. Even if you prefer your own style of seating plan (e.g. hand drawn or something) this will help you decide where to sit students and rearrange it quickly.

Convenient, streamlined seating charts. Easy to keep student requests noted for the next chart. Easy to make changes. Not the prettiest, but no need to be fancy. It gets the job done well!

I already have - our new Chemistry teacher just purchased the Silver plan last week after seeing how it was working for me. Last year I recommended the free version to everyone at my site, and this year I have already recommended the paid version to my department.

MSP allows me to change a name to a nickname, have more than one arrangement for seats, and so many more things. The biggest one is being able to have the proper name for a kid show fully on the seating chart when I print it.”

All the features at the free level give teachers an advantage in organizing where students sit. I wish that the seating chart can collect daily data, such as learning targets, that can be transferred to a learning management system.
