What is Graide?

Graide is an online assessment platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce marking workload. Teachers write their own questions (or use a bank of increasing pre-written questions), students attempt the questions online (via desktop or mobile), teachers mark the questions online with the AI providing suggestions for feedback as they mark work, and students receive their feedback faster.

Write questions without any programming required. Simply type the question you want and add maths or images where required.

Students view and attempt the assignments their teachers have created on the platform. They can type out their answers, upload images, type in maths visually or via latex, use handwriting recognition or use optical character recognition (OCR).

The AI technology compares one student's work with that of a generated model, and the algorithm determines if the answer has been given before. If it has not, the answer is passed to a teacher for marking and feedback. This feedback is machine learned to enable it to be provided automatically in the future. If only some of the answer is recognised, feedback can be given on that portion, while in the case of a similar answer, feedback (which is manually input by the teacher once) can be suggested.

Graide has shown reduction in marking times by 74% and increase student feedback by 7 times.
