What is Global Education Experiences?
Education Evolved's Global Education Experiences incorporate customized research seminars, lectures, presentations, site tours, workshops, assignments, and interviews into any course in either standard video format or 360˚ and virtual reality with optional Q&A sessions. The experiences can be a single activity covering a specific topic, a collection of content focusing on different subjects, or even interactive homework assignments. Our Global Education Experiences fit into your learning management system and are available in synchronous and asynchronous formats giving the instructor and students the ability to use the material when and how it suits them best. The goal of our education experiences is to increase student engagement with course material, promote multiculturalism, teach digital competencies, and increase student awareness of the global society they live within and encourage future exploration of educational topics.
How do they work?
Education Evolved's Global Education Experiences are simple to create and use. First, one of our Course Directors will meet with the course instructor to discuss the intended learning outcomes of the course, the specific content the instructor would like to focus on during the Global Education Experience, and any other needs which they have to ensure an accessible and equitable Global Education Experience. Second, our Course Director will then use our network of academics, experts, and industry leaders to design an experience that meets the instructor's needs and present the completed plan for approval. Finally, we then either schedule the synchronous event, or film, edit, and produce your asynchronous Global Education Experience and have it ready to integrate into your learning management system when the time is right.
What are the benefits?
The benefits for students, educators, and schools are significant. Studies have shown that students retain information longer when taught through visual aids and video. Videos and images transmit more information faster than written communication, and videos can improve comprehension. For the instructors, we provide them with a network of educators from around the world allowing them to bring their knowledge and expertise into the course providing diverse experiences.
