What is ConquerMaths?
Bett Awards Winner ConquerMaths is an adaptive teaching and assessment resource for students aged 4 to 19 that saves teachers time, personalises learning and improves grades in 92% of learners.
The video tutorials are sensitive and beautifully explained, providing comprehensive National Curriculum coverage with 1,200+ lessons for students from Primary through GCSE and A-level.

It is very child friendly, the children enjoy using it, watching the video or reading the PDF when starting new topics. It increases their confidence and level of understanding.

I have found another platform that we have trialled, which has more functionality in terms of assessing data and more differentiation for individual pupils.

We have found it to be a good program in school and are extending the use of the program from Year 4 to Year 6 instead of Year 5 and Year 6.

It is a great homework support which is constructed to teach the children, making it another teacher using a different way of explaining a similar thing.

I find it very user friendly, can be used individually with the areas of Maths broken down into smaller chunks to build a foundation in knowledge. Very easy video tutorials which give a great visual/verbal representation of mathematical processes.

Our maths program has several components including projects or inquiry based learning as well as skill development which is necessary for inquiry. The ConquerMaths is an additional platform for students to practice what is learned in the lesson and is a natural venue for the generation that loves computers. The students have books and worksheets and the ConquerMaths is yet another tool so at the end of the day, the student has multiple learning strategies and can be successful. The students also can go back and revise with ease become confident with immediate feedback which is so important in maths. Parents are also pleased to have something to monitor progress and time spend learning which is clearly tracked.
