Emily

teacher

Ardvreck School, Scotland

Used COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES weekly for 3-4 years

Jul 2023

I did not find such a complete program, adapted to children with special needs but also to the culture of the territory and in difficulty.

Emily found COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES is a program with 2 parts. COCO THINKS allows children to set up an educational and stimulating environment for the different profiles that I welcome in my classes. After a lot of work, children lose concentration and COCO MOVES allows them to take a "physical" break so that children let off steam and regain concentration for the following activities.
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
The mix of THINKS and MOVE activities is great for allowing children to recover good concentration and the plurality of educational games with logical sequences, mental calculation, working with words and numbers, ... The games are adapted, the use of the program is simple.
  • Significantly improves behaviour or wellbeing

Jun 2023

I have not yet found such complete and suitable programs and applications, which work without internet and for a derisory cost.

Reply from COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:Thanks Ana for your review, we are very happy you're enjoying our educational program so far!
Ana found COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
concentration time was very limited for children with special needs. it is possible to go from a COCO THINK activity to COCO MOVES thanks to the pgusic pose imposed by COCO. My students can let off steam in a playful, fun and educational way to recover in concentration.
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
It is less difficult to understand the needs of my active students because the COCO program is very complete and allows everyone to play at their own pace.
  • Significantly improves behaviour or wellbeing
I feel that the alternation of "intellectual" and "physical" activities brings a cerenity to the students.

Reply from COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:Dear Aline, thanks for your help! If you have new educational games ideas for our COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES program, we'll be very happy to develop them together.
Aline found COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
A lot because it allows the students to be focused for a defined time for each activity that I alternate with COCO BOUGE designs. This allows the students to regain concentration to better follow and ask the right questions.
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
My students are less dissipated and listen to me more. The "free time" parts of the class are now taken care of by myself and the COCO coach.
  • Significantly improves behaviour or wellbeing
A student with special needs will be able to let off steam, have a programme that meets the child's educational needs

Scott found it difficult to concentrate at school. The learning method on coco thinks and coco moves is much more fun. He is more involved and focus in his education and has developed new learning skills.
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
The sports break every 15 minutes of screen time allows them to learn to use their screens in moderation, without creating a screen addiction. This is very reassuring when you are a parent these days! It is always worrying to leave them alone behind the screens, but the break allows them to detach themselves. We are reassured.

It is rare to find such a comprehensive application for ADHD children. Eden uses it with her speech therapist and at home. It does her a lot of good, to work on attention, to fight impulsivity, and with this sports break it's really complete.

Several key benefits for children with special needs: rewards, adapted games with increasing difficulty, no checking, physical games, ... all in one application. And as a speech therapist, we work on different cognitive functions: language, attention, strategy, memory, causality,...

Emily Byrne found COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
I use in as a speech therapist with autistic children
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
The application is very well made for children with special needs, because we are able to work on different cognitive functions, with adapted games, which will valorize the children. The sports break is also very appreciated, especially the game mime emotions, yoga, and dance with COCO.
  • Significantly improves behaviour or wellbeing
There are more than 30 educational games, and when there is a sports break, it is a highly anticipated time for the children. A reward. And this break allows them to let off steam for better attention later on.

We have been using it for 4 - 5 years now! The games have several levels of difficulty, and over the years my son has discovered new games, which stimulate other cognitive functions or differently...

Juliet found COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES:
  • Significantly improves teaching efficiency
With the enforced sports break, my son is more focused after the break. It helps him to refocus, and he does better in the exercises afterwards. The application is also very educational, with a wide variety of content, which appealed to my son who was dropping out of school and had trouble concentrating.
  • Significantly improves teacher wellbeing
The COCO THINKS and COCO MOVES application was recommended by our speech therapist. We showed it to his teacher, who adopted it in class. She had a tablet, but she couldn't find a support as complete, with an educational part, and a physical part.
  • Significantly improves behaviour or wellbeing
Yes. With the sports break, it helps the children to let off steam. And as a parent it is reassuring to have a support that fights against screen addictions. And through sports it's a good idea. There are also physical games like miming emotions that helped me to accompany my autistic son.
