What is PG Online / ClearRevise?
PG Online have developed "a new generation of teaching resources". Providing a consistency of quality across a department and taking the unnecessary duplication out of lesson planning, they have multi-award-winning editable lesson plans for Business, Computer Science, IT, Science, Maths and Design & Technology. These are designed for all examining boards at KS3-5. Each topic comprises a complete PowerPoint presentation around which to structure the lesson, a worksheet and examination-style homework, each with answers, and final assessment. A teaching guide brings the whole lesson together with extensive notes to support new and non-specialist teachers as well as ideas to inspire seasoned subject experts.
Recommended Usage
Teachers simply need to use the materials often enough to feel the benefit of efficiency, time saving and to observe change in results and engagement. Six lessons usually yields results.

I am very pleased with the GCSE Geography revision guide as it is extremely well laid out with concise, easy to read revision materials (content knowledge and case studies) with exam practice in the style of the exam board to help students reach their full potential.

Exam tutor is a really good resource for understanding the types of questions. Students can then use the book to boost knowledge if they can’t answer the question.

PG Online resources have long provided much needed resources to support the courses I teach. With full support for the EdExcel GCSE Business and the OCR GCSE Computer Science, the introduction of these courses in 2021 and 2022 have been made so much easier. I think the resources are good, but not perfect. The revision guides are great and I already recommend them. The powerpoints are good - but in some cases there is too much info and can be quite dry...I would be careful about who I recommended these to. They are a great starting point but I wouldn't use them without editing.

The textbooks are great, but I don't recommend that teachers use bought PowerPoints (from any company). They tend to have too many words on for effective presentation. However, I do find them useful for adding diagrams to my own presentations.
