What is Blippit Boards?
Blippit Boards is a curriculum monitoring platform built for primary schools in England and Wales, but not in the way most people expect. Most monitoring tools tell you about children. Blippit Boards tells you about your curriculum.
There are no individual pupil records, no attainment data, and no progress measures. Instead, Blippit Boards captures the story of the curriculum itself: what it looks like in practice, where it's alive across the school, and how it's being experienced by pupils across year groups and subjects. Teachers capture learning moments in seconds: a photo, a short video, a caption, tagged to curriculum subjects and year groups. Those moments build into a rich, evidence-backed picture of what's actually happening, without adding to teacher workload and without a single piece of paper.
For subject leaders, that picture becomes something genuinely useful. Filtered reports show curriculum coverage by subject, year group, or date range, automatically generated as PDFs that can be shared with governors or used to drive professional conversations. The question Blippit Boards answers is not "how is this child doing?" but "what does my subject actually look like across this school?" which is the question subject leadership is really about. Over 200 schools are now using the platform, with more than 300,000 moments captured.
Blippit Boards includes an optional-to-activate AI feature, available to every school at no extra cost and fully within the school's control. AI Curriculum Snapshot generates a written narrative from a subject leader's report, turning captured evidence into an analytical summary that describes curriculum breadth, depth, and what the subject looks like in practice. For subject leaders, that means less time writing up what they already know, and a clearer, evidence-backed picture of what their curriculum actually looks like in practice: ready to act on.
